Spring at Kyak Point
This past weekend we had some beautiful weather. Shane wanted to get me out of the house since currently I don’t go out much with the three kids. I made some snacks and then we ran some errands ending up at Kyak point for our picnic. The kids spent most of their time throwing rocks in the ocean instead of eating. We flew a kite and then walked down the beach collecting stones ending at a huge pile of driftwood that someone had turned into a fort. Here we collected wood, walked the plank, threw stones in the ocean etc… We ended up staying at the park for three hours. All of us got slight sunburns on our faces proving that even in coastal Washington you can get some sun in March. Here are some pictures of the day.

Sorry for the TD (thumb down), Ann — I am testing a rating system for comments and I have not found a way to reset them yet.

Looks like fun! I can’t believe how big your kids are getting! Washington looks beautiful. We’d love to visit sometime, when we move back to the states…

March and all the grandkids are at the beach….some in swim attire and the others in raincoats and boots! Goes to show how far apart we are.

How funny… I like to stake a claim. Although many of my younger sisters have told me if I use a name they like they are going to use it anyway.
