Father’s and Son’s Outing
This past mother’s day weekend Shane and the boys went out for a Father’s and sons camp out for church. Rather than set up a tent Shane outfitted our enclosed trailer with our queen sized blow up mattress and a pile of sleeping bags and pillows before he left. Marie sadly waved goodbye to the boys as they pulled away. At home I tried to cheer her up with a fun meal, a movie and sleeping in my bed.
Meanwhile the boys ate strawberries the size of apples and played by a nearby pond. Despite all the fun things to do apparently the boys were so excited about the prospect of sleeping in the trailer that exactly at 7 pm they requested to go to bed. After letting them jump on the mattress for a while and dressing them in their pj’s Shane climbed in, bungeed the door closed. The boys then pillaged the marshmallows and fell asleep.
Breakfast was marshmallows for Peter. Oliver ate french toast and then they fell asleep on the home while Shane ran in to get me some rather beautiful flowers for Mother’s Day. Click here to see more photos.

I can’t believe how big Peter is getting. I’m glad they enjoyed themselves
