Happy Father’s Day!
This Father’s Day the kids had a fun gift to give Shane. A month previously the Primary had an activity where the kids decorated old ties for their fathers to wear on Father’s day. Marie be-jeweled her tie for Shane and Oliver glued miniature games and a kazoo for entertainment during sacrament meeting. Shane employed his great creative brain to figure out how to wear both ties today. He wore Oliver’s for the morning and sacrament. He wore Marie’s for the second half of church and home.
We are thankful to have such a great Dad at our house and for the great Dad’s that helped us become who we are! I firmly believe that our relationships with our fathers can help or hinder our relationship with our Heavenly Father. I am so thankful for righteous fathers that set foundations of righteous living and healthy relationships with the most important being to have a good relationship with, our Heavenly Father.
